We stayed 2 nights for my partners Birthday...the highlight being live piano playing for the 2 hours of our meal in the Conall Cearnach Restaurant...beautiful instrumental...My Cavan Girl among others. Most spacious hotel, large lounge areas, facilities for non golfers and children. Choice of Breakfast in 2 separate restaurants...table service only in one....very considerate for those with mobility issues or if a busy buffet is too much to handle first thing in the morning! Stunning views over the Golf Course from the Summit Restaurant...more than the rated 4.5 Stars...with a beautiful large Garden area designed by Paul Martin...just loved this.

Vivien

Travelled with 2 young people with special needs, 1 a wheelchair user with high medical needs. From the moment we entered the hotel we felt relaxed and comfortable. Lots of space for the wheelchair friendly helpful staff, Fabulous pool and leisure area, changing facilities excellent. Beautiful gardens and exceptional food and service. The room was spotlessly clean, breakfast room service on time and hot, appreciated the room service fee being waived due to our additional needs. Overall 5* and look forward to a return visit. Compliments to the chef, staff and management.

Jenny

Everything, hence the reason we keep returning. I had badly burnt my hand the evening before we arrived at the hotel. It was very sore the afternoon we arrived and Stephen the bar Manager went above and beyond for me. He spoke to a first aider in the Hotel and came to me with ice pack, burn gel and gauze dressings which helped immensely. Stephen always remembers us when we visit and makes sure the wine I like which is only available in the dining room is brought to the bar for me. Please pass on my thanks to him for looking after me so well.

We arrived early expecting to have to wait a few hours before we could check in but the reception staff called us after 30 mins to say the room was ready to check in after consulting with their domestic staff. We were on our honeymoon and they thoughtfully gave us an upgrade and complimentary bottle of wine which was very much appreciated. All the staff were amazing, kind, friendly and helpful. We loved the location, and the fact it was a PGA golf course. The surrounding area was beautiful and the on site walk round the grounds was so lovely.

Suzanne

We really enjoyed our stay. I found the staff at reception were so helpful. We were over for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary, and they placed a card and chocolates in their room on request. Also, at dinner, they did a plate up saying happy anniversary when I requested nothing was any hassle. The rooms were fabulous, and the spa was top class . Myself and my mother had a treatment, and it was fab. It was my parents' 1st time in the hotel, and they will surely b back. We also enjoyed the music in the bar it added to the night.
